WIFI
We offer free, unlimited WiFi for all guests during your stay.
The WiFi ID and password can be found on the WiFi card located inside your lodge.
Rural Location
Wooli is a beautiful, remote coastal village, and as such we do not have wired NBN. Our internet is provided via a wireless NBN connection, which allows us to offer WiFi while still enjoying the natural surroundings.
Service Reliability
Because of this wireless NBN setup there are a few things to be aware of:
- Power outages: If the electricity goes off (which can occasionally happen in rural areas), the WiFi will also be unavailable until power is restored.
- Weather impact: Storms or severe weather in the area may affect internet speed or cause temporary interruptions.
What to Expect
While the WiFi is suitable for general browsing, emails, and streaming, speeds may vary at times due to our rural location.
Don’t Forget
Before you leave, please remember to log out of any streaming services (such as Netflix, Stan, etc.) on the TV so that future guests cannot access your account.

Troubleshooting & Important Notes
We have the same modem and ACTIV8me connection at our home in Wooli, and we’ve found that ACTIV8me are very quick to identify and resolve any issues. In most cases, there is no need to turn the modem on and off — it’s best to let them do their thing.
If the WiFi drops out, please be patient. There may be times when there is nothing we can do until ACTIV8me resolve the issue on their end.
Please:
- Do not adjust or repeatedly reset the modem (including turning it off and on), as this can cause damage
- Check that the electricity is on in your lodge
- Check your mobile data or usual internet on your phone to see if there is a wider outage
