Other Stuff We Have and Don’t Have

Stuff we have:

A pool – there are lots of swimming options in the area, but it’s always nice to have our pool as an easy alternative.
Canoes, kayaks and stand-up paddle boards that are free to use.
A covered BBQ shed with picnic tables, a BBQ, two sinks and a full gas oven.
A laundry – we use it to wash all the sheets and towels, but you are welcome to shove us out of the way to do your washing. $4 per wash and the same for the dryer. Washing powder is free!
A pub – we don’t actually have a pub on site, but there is a fantastic family-friendly hotel with a great range of eating options only 2 minutes’ stroll from us.

Stuff we don’t have:

We don’t have WiFi – despite Wooli being a ‘major city on the East coast’, there is no NBN. The WiFi here is sketchy at times therefore we can’t offer it to guests as it is so unreliable.
We don’t have massive parties! We are not the spot for schoolies or groups who want to get rowdy till the wee hours.

Swimming Pool

Our 11-metre pool has a deeper end and a shallower end so it is child friendly. There is shade over one end of the pool to protect you from the sun. There are chairs and loungers for guest use. Please adhere to the opening hours (7am until dusk) so that guests with lodges close to the pool are not disturbed. Please shower before entering the pool, this will help us to keep it looking good.

Camp Kitchen

Whether you’re using the large barbecue or just relaxing in the poolside BBQ area, you’ll find everything you need.

A large barbecue, 2 sinks, 3 large picnic tables and preparation benches.

Standup paddle boards, kayaks and canoes

Explore the pristine Wooli Wooli River on our a standup paddleboards, kayaks or in a canoe and watch out for wildlife and birds for FREE.

All guests must complete and sign a ‘Watercraft Waiver of Liability and Indemnity‘ form which can be found on the fridge in your lodge. Please sign the form and place in the black letter box outside the office. This must be completed before using any craft. Guests must wear personal floatation devices when using the craft.

Don’t leave the water craft beside the river, please bring back up to where you found the craft.

Boat Ramp

We have a small boat ramp that is ok for tinnies. Anything larger can be launched at the public boat ramp just a few minutes drive up the road going towards the spit.

The ramp can be slippery so please be careful when using it.
